The CICS Systems Programmer is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of IBM CICS transaction processing environments. This role supports both development and production systems by managing CICS regions, diagnosing transaction failures, applying fixes, and ensuring high availability of online applications. You will partner with application developers and z/OS systems staff to optimize throughput, manage resource definitions, and implement best practices for CICS security and monitoring. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in CICS TS, CICSPlex SM, and related IBM middleware in complex, multi-region environments.
